Google Searches Web’s Dark Side

One in 10 web pages scrutinised by search giant Google contained malicious code that could infect a user’s PC.

It is actually an add-on service by Google to warn users that they may enter a ‘harmful’ website, if they click on that link after their search. So what’s the use of displaying it after a user search? Why not removing the result ‘malicious’ altogether from the search results? It will completely remove the site from being found and protect the user. If Yahoo, MSN and other major search engines will join to fortify the blacklisted websites, that is for greater good. However, those blacklisted sites, if proven innocent or ‘cleaned’, will they be given another chance? I must say ‘yes’, but that will require some time and search engine result penalty for them.
